Hankison HMM membrane dryers are a great alternative to refrigeration and adsorption dryers. Membrane dryers can be selected regardless of the desired pressure dew point without maintenance. Fine particle and oil filtration is required to protect the sensitive membrane surface.
The modular membrane compressed air dryers in the HMM series are available for air flow rates from 2.4 m³/h to 240 m³/h (inlet) with great functions:
- Multifunctional applications, no electrical connection required
- No moving parts
- No liquid condensate needs to be treated
- No loss of oxygen
- Pressure-resistant aluminum housing
HMM membranes are an excellent alternative to refrigeration and adsorption dryers. Membrane dryers can be selected independently of the desired pressure dew point and are maintenance-free. Fine particle and oil filtration is required to protect the sensitive membrane surface. You will find suitable filter combinations in our Hankison filter range.
Typical applications:
- Control and instrument air for outdoor installations
- Ventilation in electrical enclosures
- Laboratory applications where small flow rates are required
- Explosion-proof applications
- Air supply for purged bearings (turntables)

Criteria for the selection of HMM membrane dryers:
- Small flow rates in combination with high-quality pressure dew points
- No power supply available
- Explosion-proof use with low capital investment
- High reliability required (no rotating parts)

- Performance is based on an air intake of 68°F (20°C), 14.5 psig (1 bar) and the following operating conditions: 100 psig (7 bar) working pressure, -40°F (-40°C) pressure dew point, 77°F (25°C) ambient temperature, 95°F (35°C) compressed air inlet temperature.
